This will be the shortest RED letter ever. The offices of GirlCanCreate and RED have been busy curating the last RED and working as a Community Liason for a show called Back Home that I do think that you should see. (for more info see. www.harbourfrontcentre.com) For those of you who don’t know, June 13 will be the last RED as we know it at Lula Lounge. I will be taking a hiatus from producing and curating shows for a few months and will focus on my own performing. Right now I am working on a new storytelling piece called “Listening to Fortuna” as well as putting together an ensemble of multidisciplinary artists who will perform and tour together on a regular basis. (Hint: think of a sort of touring RED, but I can’t let you know the players just yet!) But before I do all of that, I will take a much needed break for the summer. Just like last year and the year before, I will try to put out some RED Letters, but they will be smaller than the other ones, well, just because, it’s lovely outside and I want to take a bit of a break! Even if you have simply done a minute piece in a 40 Tiny Performances you are welcome to take advantage of the $5 tickets! Let’s spread the word and pack the house one last time!
